Switch?

I found a switch marked S and W that was underneath of 84 S65 Hijet . What does this switch indicate?

It is the damper for the air feed. It indicates Summer and Winter.

It is the damper switch for the air feed. W stands for winter. Switch in that position brings air from the left frame rail, across the catalytic converter and to the air cleaner. Whereas s stands for summer. In this position air is pulled from the right frame rail to the air cleaner.
