S110 4x4

What is the proper procedure for engaging 4x4? Have truck in neutral, hit button, put it in gear and go? or do you shift on the fly?

I think, you shouldn’t run the 4wd above 25-mph. Am not sure though!

4 High can typically be shifted into when driving at low speeds in newer vehicles or when stopped in older vehicles. In order to shift into 4 Low, however, you will first need to put the vehicle into neutral. No matter what vehicle you drive, never shift to 4WD when traveling at high speeds or when on dry, level roads. Standard procedure to engage 4 wheel drive is to first ensure that the van is completely stopped. With your foot on the brake, shift the van into Drive, release the brake, and begin to slowly roll forward, While rolling forward, press the 4 wheel drive button.
