Is there Japanese mini truck make that is safer than the rest?

I have recently been checking out and learning about the Japanese mini trucks. And having learned a lot about them, I am almost ready to get one of these. I believe they can come in handy for many purposes. I would however want to know whether there is one that is considered better than the other.
