Fuel pump not working
I own a 90 Subuaru Sambar with the carb motor. It's wasn't running and I found that fuel pump not working. Is there a fuse under the dash? If so what relay or fuse size?
Fuel pump is powered by fuse under the dash and there is no relay as such. Check out the wiring connections to the fuse.
The fuel pump is a key component in any internal combustion engine. If fuel pump is not working, check the fuel pump relay switch which is located on the left of the dash near the kick panel. The dash lower panel will have to be removed to access it. If fuse is okay, there might be a problem with the fuel pump control module which is in the cargo area. Check the wiring between the tank and the fuel pump relay. If the wiring is at fault, power supply to the pump could be affected.
You have to check the wiring between fuel pump and tank. See whether the fuse is working right!
