Features in later versions

What features have been updated in the later versions of Mazda Scrums (1999-2013)?

The DG52T Mazda Scrum is almost identical to the DA52T Suzuki Carry truck. The vans of this generation are actually different, using a semi-cabover design, while the trucks still maintain a full cabover design. Trim levels include the KA, KA Turbo, and KL. All KL models are equipped with part time 4WD. Later versions of this generation added features such as standard airbags and standard air conditioning. New trim levels for other features, such as dump beds, were also included. Power Steering, Automatic Transmission, 4WD, Diff Lock, Airbag, Passenger Airbag, ABS, Air Conditioning, Electronic Fuel Injection, Dump bed were all added features in the new generation Scrum.

The Mazda Scrum uses a 660-cc, DOHC, three-cylinder engine, and is available with either 4WD or 2WD. The 4WD version can also be switched between 4WD and 2WD and has high- and low-gear ranges.

Most of the safety feature and comfort features were added in the later versions of Mazda Scrum

The safety features are some of the advanced equipment to prevent accidental, it includes lane departure warning function, anti-lock braking system, hill-hold control, dynamic stability control, traction control system, high beam headlights, and electronic brake-force distribution with an emergency stop signal.
